On 4th October 2009, at the Ashdale Hall, these students were promoted to 1st and 3rd Degree Black Belts. Kathlyn Fettes, Doug Kemp (both Westhill),
Michael Deighton (NHill) achieved 1st Degree and Sandra Rosie (Westhill), Kriss Ross (BOD) and Johannes Van Midden (NHill) achieved 3rd Degree.
Also on the day students from Bridge of Don, Garthdee, Newtonhill and Westhill joined together for a Coloured Belt and Black Belt Tag testing. Congratulations to all who tested on the day! |

| Congratulations to Mr. John Ritchie on achieving his 3rd Degree Black Belt. During the testing he had to perform all blocks, punches, kicks, patterns and speed drills. Here he is performing a heel kick. He put in a great amount of effort preparing for the day and it showed! It was all worthwhile, as he was awarded his new belt. Here he is with a fellow student, Mr. Lucas Collie, Bridge of Don Choi Kwang Do School, who successfully tested to 1st Degree Black Belt. |
